Type locality: specimens collected on an Australian host in Berlin Aquarium ( Germany)

Type host: Diemeniae textilis

Current status: a synonym of Amblyomma argentinae in Guglielmone et al. (2021).

Comments: Moritz & Fischer (1981) did not list specimens of Amblyomma diemeniae as being held in the ZMB.
