Comments: in the ZMB type catalog by Moritz & Fischer (1981), no specimens of Ixodes rossianus are listed. Ixodes rossianus in Schulze (1935a) was treated as a synonym of Ixodes holocyclus by Roberts (1960), Guglielmone & Nava (2014) and others.
