Type locality: “Nanrai,” South Keysio , South Korea

Type host: cattle

Current status: a synonym of Rhipicephalus microplus ( Yamaguti et al. 1971, under the genus Boophilus ). Comments: Guglielmone & Nava (2014) named the tick described by Kisihida (1936) Boophilus minningi , but that author named it Palpoboophilus minningi .
