Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: six individuals from six sites. Caught in flight trap and sifted from leaf litter from 9 March – 30 June 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern United States.
Saproxylic habits.
Emerged from smaller hardwood branches and twigs ( Ferro et al. 2012 a; Ferro and Nguyen 2016) and collected from loblolly pine logs ( Gil 2008); adults occur in white-rotten logs, in tree holes, and under bark, especially at the base of oaks ( Stephan 1989).
