Distribution: Venezuela to Tamaulipas and Sinaloa ( Mexico); Trinidad and Tobago.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Reviewed by Paradiso (1967) and Snow et al. (1980). Venezuelan populations have not been allocated to subspecies. See Emmons (1997) for distribution map.
