Lycodon jara (Shaw 1802) :

Observed at Amlekhgunj-Hattisar. According to Schleich and Kästle (2002), it is a rarely found species from Terai Nepal. However, there are published reports of it in bordering states of India as well. This is the first record from Parsa National Park ( Fig. 26 ).
