Macrobiotus subintermedius Ramazzotti, 1962 View in CoL
( Figs. 1–4 View FIGURES 1–8 ; Table 1 View TABLE 1 )
In the original description of the species ( Ramazzotti 1962), the peribuccal lamellae were not cited and they were not visible in the syntype. The characters 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 are visible in the syntype. In the specimen examined (lateral position), the stylet support insertion point has a pt = 60.1 (character 5), the ventral lamina a pt = 48.0 (character 6) and the macroplacoid row a pt = 31.9 (character 7).
On dorsal and ventral cuticle, scarce and small pores of circular or elliptical shapes are present (not cited in the original description) and seemingly not organized in bands ( Figs. 2, 3 View FIGURES 1–8 ). The presence or absence of granulation on the legs is not detectable. The egg processes, other than regularly conical (as originally described), can have conical base surmounted by a thin spike ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–8 ).
