Head and thorax brown, abdominal tergite I brown, II–VIII pale with median brown patch, IX pale brown, X brown; antennal segment III with forked sense cone; pronotum without long posteromarginal or posteroangular setae, about 30 discal setae, all setae short; Lateral thirds of abdominal tergites VII–VIII with rows of fine microtrichia arising anteriorly....... brevisetis *

Body uniformly dark brown ( Fig. 1 ); antennal segment III with simple sense cone; pronotum with two pairs of posteroangular setae, inner setae slightly shorter than the outer one, about 30 discal setae and three pairs of posteromarginal setae, all setae long and flattened ( Fig. 3 ); Abdominal tergites VII–VIII without rows of microtrichia on lateral thirds ( Figs 5 , 7 ).................................................................................................. lanceolatus sp. nov.
