( Fig. 8E View Fig )

Material: One fragmentary alveolar part (Ge 33497) within the original matrix with other rostra (referred herein to Passaloteuthis . sp. indet.). Preserved length: 38 mm. Maximal diameter: 6.5 mm.

Description: Slender, elongate rostrum with wellmarked, shallow lateral depressions in the alveolar part. Shallow alveolus without visible eccentricity, (sub-pyriform) compressed cross-section.

Remarks: Tis single specimen with only the alveolar part preserved bears some resemblance with specimens of B. amaliae from the Northwest European Province, from the Upper Pliensbachian of Portugal ( Rita et al., 2021). Te rostrum is elongate with an asymmetrical and hastate profile, and a subhastate to cylindrical symmetrical outline. Te cross section is compressed. Ventrolateral line(s) are markedly developed on the alveolar region.
