Lectotype (Dahlgren in Opera Bot. 9: 276. 1963): [icon] "Planta leguminosa Aethiopica, foliis Rusci" in Breyn, Exot. Pl. Cent.: 69, t. 28. 1678.

Current name: Aspalathus crenata (L.) R. Dahlgren View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Dahlgren ( Opera Bot. 22: 14, f. 3. 1968) reproduces the Breyn illustration that he had designated as the lectotype.
