Comments. Gibbs (2010) neglected to include the male of L. punctatoventre , although Crawford (1907) described both sexes. Several males have now been associated with females of L. punctatoventre by morphology and geographical co-occurrence, and they are figured here for the first time. See L. reasbeckae (below) for a comparative diagnosis of the male, and Gibbs (2010) for a diagnosis and redescription of the female.
