Bat.: 193. 1698. - Epitype (Ball in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 51: 532. 2002): Portugal. Abundant in sandy places by the Douro, about Pinhão, 10 Jun 1889, R.P. Murray s.n. (BM-000576294).
