MA state o Pavanelli (2003): listing, correction of type locality o Pavanelli (2007): listing remarks In the original description the type locality was stated as being in the state of Goiás. Pavanelli (1999, 2003) corrected this to Maranhão.
Guimarães et al. (2021a) list specimens from the Tocantins basin in Pará, very close to the border with Maranhão.
