TYPE LOCALITY AND TYPE DEPOSITORY. Nepal, Himalayan Mountain Range ; NHMUK.

PROTONYM. Scorpio hardwickii Gervais, 1843 .

CHINESE EQUIVALENT. Ǭ氏ẍx.

DISTRIBUTION (◌). Xizang: Lhasa City (“Nyenchen Tanglha Mts.”, probably in Damxung County).

REMARKS. This population is most likely conspecific with S. tibetanus after examining one adult female (Lowe & Tang, 2024) from the material series in Kovařík (2000: 176). It will be addressed in an upcoming paper.
