Remark. The remaining syntype material is unknown. Non-type specimens are deposited in CSV, HNHM, NHMB, and RBINS. The first published transfer of this species from Hemiolimerus to Senodonia was made by Ȏhira (1971: 210), not by Schimmel & Platia (1992: 243).
