Remark. The exact locality within the Nilgiri Hills cannot be ascertained. The Nilgiri Hills form part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, which spans across southern Karnataka, eastern Kerala, and northwestern Tamil Nadu. The species is considered endemic to India.
