Frons as long as wide and parallel-sided, with a pair of brown stripes, extending to ocellar triangle; ocellar triangle black; oc shorter than anterior or and anterior or longer than 1/2 of the posterior. Gena about 1/3 height of eye. Antenna yellow, 1st flagellomere yellow except for pale brown on apical 2/3, 2.0 times longer than high; arista black except for brownish base, ray short plumose, with longest ray as long as 1/2 height of 1st flagellomere. Proboscis and palpus yellow.

Thorax ( Figs 275, 276 View FIGURES 272 – 278 ) yellow with grayish white pruinosity. Mesonotum with 8 brown stripes (two medial stripes on arc rows, two stripes on dc rows, two post-sutural lateral stripes, two stripes on sa rows), 0+3 dc (1st post-sutural dc far from transverse suture), acr in irregular 6 rows and prsc as long as 1st post-sutural dc. Scutellum yellow, with a pair of wide brown stripes. Legs yellow. Fore femur with 3 pv, 8 pd, and ctenidium with 9 short setae; fore tibia with 1 long preapical ad and 1 short apv.
