Meteorus romani Fahringer, 1929: 1–12. Syn. by van Achterberg 1979 with Zele albiditarsus Curtis, 1832.

Zele albiditarsus View in CoL f. albiditarsus: van Achterberg 1979: 380–383.

Type material examined.

Lectotype of Zele romani . Russia • ♀; “ Kamtschatka Malaise ”; “ 1231 ”; “ Type ”; “ 403, 77 ”; NHRS-HYME 000005237 ; ( NRMS, Stockholm).

Other material examined.

None in this study.

Diagnosis.

Vein 1 r-m of hind wing ~ 7.0 × longer than vein 1 - M (Fig. 22 E View Figure 22 ); first metasomal tergite comparatively robust (~ 2.0 × longer than its apical width), dorsope comparatively close to base of tergite and largely smooth, dorsope of first tergite small in dorsal view, area between dorsope much wider than dorsope (Fig. 22 J, K View Figure 22 ); head largely dark brown (except yellowish clypeus and mandible) (Fig. 22 G, H View Figure 22 ); precoxal sulcus area mainly coarsely punctate; ovipositor sheath ~ 0.45 × as long as fore wing; hind tarsus largely ivory or white; length of malar space 0.2 × basal width of mandible; pedicellus yellowish; hind coxa, first and second tergites dark brown; length of hind femur ~ 6.3 × as long as wide (lectotype from photo); length of eye 2.3–2.4 × temple.

Distribution.

Russia (Kamchatka Peninsula).

Biology.

Unknown.

Remarks.

This species was as a synonym included in the species Z. albiditarsus f. albiditarsus ( van Achterberg, 1979), because of their length of vein 1 - M of hind wing 0.3–0.8 × vein cu-a; hind tarsus whitish, paler than hind femur; However, they can separated by having vein 1 r-m of hind wing ~ 7.0 × longer than vein 1 - M (much shorter in Z. albiditarsus ); less developed fore spur, 0.3–0.4 × as long as fore basitarsus (more developed in Z. albiditarsus ); vein r of hind wing absent (present in Z. albiditarsus ) and largely dark brown head (yellowish in Z. albiditarsus ).
