Type locality: Zaïre ( Lake Kivu) .
Remarks: A careful study of the holotype (MRAC) mounted as 3 permanent microscope slides (wings, genitalia, remaining dissected body) confirmed the presence of a bilobed segment X in dorsal view, although the genital preparation is distorted and depigmented.
