Type material (not examined). Holotype ♀: JAPAN, Osaka Pref.: Minoh City; 28.07.1947; Yaginuma leg. Material examined. 14♂ 20♀, CHINA, Hubei Province: Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Xuan’en County, Qizimeishan National Nature Reserve; 29.6845 ‒ 30.0764 °N, 109.5919‒ 109.7454°E; elev. 600‒1300 m; 28 June‒24 July 2023; C.H. Hu & M. Wei leg. Diagnosis. See diagnosis under Episunus pseudonubilus in Liang et al. (2025). Description. See Kim (2021). Remarks. This species is transferred to Asiopisinus gen. nov. due to similarity of the male palp and epigyne to those in the generotype. Distribution. China (Fujian, Hubei, Hunan Jiangxi, Shanxi, Taiwan, Zhejiang), Japan, Korea ( Fig. 22 View FIGURE 22 ).
