Taxonomy: Shen (1932b).
Type: Holotype ñ in IOCAS.
Type locality: Xingcun (as Hsingtsun), Shandong, China.
Distribution: East Asia: coasts of China.
Habitat: Commensal with or parasite of bivalves, hosts including Laternula marilina (Reeve, 1863) ( Shen 1932b) , and L. truncata (Lamarck, 1818) ( Pregenzer and Morton 1990) .
