Taxonomy: Shen (1932b).
Type: Holotype ò ZMFMIB No. 7515: status unknown.
Type locality: Yanghokou, now Bohai Bay (as Peichihli Bay), China.
Distribution: East Asia: coasts of China and Korea ( HS Kim 1973; Dai and Yang 1991).
Habitat: Intertidal; on mudflats ( Wada et al. 1997).
