Canthidium aeneolum Harold, 1867b: 76 View in CoL [here transferred to the subgenus Neocanthidium View in CoL ]. Type locality: Southern French Guiana and Brazil: Pará: Lower Tapajós River (“Vom Tapajos und von Pará (Bates!), auch aus dem südlichen Cayenne”). Type material: Unknown number of syntypes (MNHN—ex Bates and Deyrolle collections). Distribution: French Guiana and Brazil (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
