Present status. Ancylis transientana Filipjev, 1926 .
Comments. Genitalia of both sexes were illustrated in the original description. Gilligan et al. (2018) listed the type locality imprecisely as “Russia” and noted that the holotype is unknown. The specific name transientana is misspelled in the original description as transienta (p: 117, lapsus calami); corrected directly in the same publication (p: 183) .
