Biology: Thewhitelarvaedevelopgregariously on galled leaves of Sorbus spp. ( Rosaceae ). Our records are from Sorbus aucuparia . Infected leaves are folded up along the midrib, forming a small fold in which the larvae live. Univoltine; pupation and hibernation in the soil.
Distribution: Known from several European countries including Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
