Type:— BRAZIL. Mato Grosso: Bugres River , ex hort., October 1891, S.M. Moore 438 ( lectotype, designated here: BM barcode BM000534547 !; isolectotype: K barcode K000586293 !) .

Notes: — Moore (1895) described N. lyrata , but did not indicate the holotype. The original material was located in the collections of BM and K. The BM sample (barcode BM 000534547) is designated here as a lectotype and the K sample (barcode K 000586293) as an isolectotype, since they have information on the label that allows them to be recognized as originals and used in the description of the species.
