DISTRIBUTION: Australia, Botswana, Cameroon, Cook Islands, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Hawaii, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, New Zealand, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Republic of Congo, Russia, Seychelles; Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka, in Lusaka Province; Mpika, in Muchinga Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include four Ebenaceaespecies (i.e. Diospyros pallens (Thunb.) F.White, D. villosa (L.) De Winter, D. dichrophylla (Gand.) De Winter and D. lycioides Desf. ), a yet to be identified Sapota sp. (Sapotaceae) and Royena sp. (Ebenaceae) ( African Moths 2019).
