Maldives, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Oman, Pitcairn Islands, Réunion, Rwanda, Saint Helena (with Ascension and Tristan da Cunha), Sao Tome & Principe, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Tanzania, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Solwezi and Mwinilunga, in Northwestern Province; Kafue, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S):The following Malvaceae plant species are larval foodplants of the taxon, Abelmoschus esculentus Moench , Althaea sp. , Commersonia bartramia (L.) Merr., Corchorus sp. , Gossypium sp. , Grewia occidentalis L., Hibiscus sp. and Triumfetta rhomboidea Jacq. ( African Moths 2019) .
