DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Isoka and Kopa, in Muchinga Province; Solwezi, in Northwestern Province; Livingstone, in Southern Province; Mansa, in Luapula Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S):Larval foodplants include:three Fabaceae species ( Acacia sieberiana DC. , Julbernardia paniculata (Benth.) Troupin and Bauhinia galpinii N.E.Br. ) and two Caesalpiniaceae species ( Brachystegia spiciformis Benth.
and B. venosa Hutch. & Burtt Davy ) in South Africa; two Fabaceae species ( Julbernardia globiflora
(Benth.) Troupin and Dichrostachys cinerea (L.) Wight & Arn.) in Zimbabwe. No host plants or larval foodplants named for Zambia.
