Description. Habitus ( Figs 1–4 View FIGURES 1–4 ) – Head: Vertex and dorsal half of frons grayish-brown; ventral half of frons naked.Antenna filiform in both sexes, about 2/3 as long as forewing; scape dark grayish-brown dorsally, pale orange ventrally; flagellomere grayish-brown dorsally and pale orange ventrally, with dark brown ring distally. Labial palpus pale grayish-brown, densely irrorated with dark grayish-brown; 1 st segment 1/3 as long as 2 nd, with scaletufts ventrally; 3 rd segment 1/2 as long as 1 st, obtuse apically. Thorax: Patagium grayish-brown, irrorated with pale orange; tegula pale grayish-yellow on basal half, grayish-brown on distal half; mesonotum pale grayish-yellow on anterior 1/3, grayish-brown on basal 2/3. Forewing length 8.6–12.8 mm, pale purplish-gray, densely intermixed with yellowish-brown, reddish-brown, dark grayish-brown scales variously in individuals; costal streak broad, narrowed distally, pale brown or pale grayish-yellow; ante- and postmedian lines narrow, nearly straight, pale brown or pale orange; discal stigma angle bracket-shaped, pale brown or pale grayish-yellow; subterminal line narrow, zigzagged in posterior half, pale brown or pale orange; pale brown or pale orange streaks along distal veins pale brown or pale orange; terminal line pale brown or pale orange; cilia purplish gray. Hindwing concolorous with forewing; postmedian line narrow, straight, pale brown or pale orange; discal area intermixed with dark grayish-brown scales; subterminal line narrow, zigzagged, pale brown or pale orange; pale brown or pale orange streaks along distal veins pale brown or pale orange; terminal line pale brown or pale orange; cilia purplish gray. Legs grayish-brown dorsally, pale gray ventrally.Abdomen: Terga purplish-gray; sterna pale grayish-yellow or pale grayish-orange. Male genitalia ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5–8 ) – Uncus elongate, narrow basally, broadened distad, strongly curved in basal 1/3, setose in distal 2/3, with small, claw-shaped process apically. Tegumen narrowly-round in distal half. Valva broadened basally, bilobed in distal half; upper lobe sclerotized, digitiform, slightly curved at basal 1/3; left upper lobe broader than right one; lower lobe 2/3 as long as upper one, narrow, digitiform, tapered distad, narrowly-round apically, setose; harpe short, digitiform, broadened basally; left harpe stouter and shorter than right one; sacculus swollen; basal cavity subtriangular. Juxta fan-shaped. Vinculum subtriangular. Phallus slightly curved at distal 1/3, broadened at junction with ductus ejaculatorius; coecum narrowly-round; spinulate, cornutal zone 1/5 as long as phallus. Female genitalia ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 5–8 ) – Sternum VIII rectangular; pleuron VIII with pocket around spiracle. Papilla analis rectangular, setose. Apophysis anterioris short, 1/4 as long as apophysis posterioris. Lamella postvaginalis subtrapezoidal, emarginated apically. Ostium broasd, with small pocket laterally. Ductus bursa sclerotized, broadened to ostium bursae, 1/2 as long as corpus bursae. Corpus bursae moderately constricted at posterior 1/4, posterior part globular, with inception of ductus seminalis, anterior part elliptical, spinulate on posterior half.
Diagnosis. This species is closely allied to O. obliquaria but differs from the latter in the genital features as indicated in the Table 1.
Distribution. Korea.
Host plants. Unknown.
Etymology. This species is named after the country where the type series have been collected.
