Type locality. Denmark, Copenhagen (“Habitat in Hafniae Quercu Dom. de Sehestedt”).

Material examined. S & TL coll. 1 lectotype.

Identity. Acleris sparsana ( Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775) ( Tortricinae , Tortricini ).

Remarks. Karsholt and Nielsen (1976) confirmed the identity of this species and designated a lectotype.
