Type locality. Southern Germany (“Habitat in Germania australiori Dom. Romanus”).
Material examined. None.
Identity. Acleris literana ( Linnaeus, 1758) View in CoL ( Tortricinae , Tortricini ).
Remarks. This species is a junior synonym of Tortrix literana L., although it also has been connected with the synonymy of Tortrix asperana Denis and Schiffermüller ( Herrich-Schäffer 1856; Werneburg 1864).
