Material examined. None.
Identity. Aethes francillana (Fabricius) ( Tortricinae , Cochylini ) ( Razowski 1962).
Remarks. The taxonomic identity of this species is mixed with that of Aethes dilucidana ( Stephens, 1852) in the old literature.
