Type locality. “Des Indes Orientales”.
Distribution. India: Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal (Kolkata, Nadia) (Chakraborthy and Chakrabarti, 2006). Elsewhere: Afghanistan ( Nemeth and Platia, 2014), Bangladesh; Himalaya, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka ( Cate, 2007), UAE ( Platia, 2007); Oman ( Platia, 2008).
