Oliveira (1893) refers the species from BuÇaco. Reported from Portugal with no precise localities by Borchert (1938). Bordoni (1984) reported it from Beja, S. Luis, S leg., 9.IX.1969, 1 ex.; no data, 1 ex.

(B); Guarda, Maceira, C leg., 10.VIII.1969, 1 ex.; Seṫbal , Marateca, C leg., 8.IX.1969, 1 ex. Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) only reported this species from Beira Litoral.

New data: Beira Litoral, Leiria, Ansião, Avelar, 10/06/1969, 1 ex., leg. R. N. Ferreira ( cRNF). Distribution : Well known in Europe, and also present in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015) .

New data: Beira Litoral, Coimbra, Coimbra, Choupal, 3/07/1970, 1 ex., leg. R. N. Ferreira ( cRNF). Distribution : Widespread in Europe, and also present in Kazakhstan and Russia (Siberia) (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015) . First record from Portugal.
