Boieiro et al. (1999) reported this species from Castro Marim, Tavira and Serra da Arrábida. Assing (2010b) recorded it in Algarve, Praia de Faro, 37°32‟N, 7°59‟W, 5 m, 26/03/2002, 1 ex., leg. Meybohm (cAss), Algarve, 2,5 km WNW Silves, Odelouca River , 30/04/1998, 1 ex., leg. Heike & Wendt (cAss). Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) reported it from Estremadura and Algarve.

New data: Minho, Viana do Castelo, ValenÇa, São Pedro da Torre , 30/06/1966, 1 ex., leg. R . N. Ferreira ( cRNF); Caminha, Foz do Minho, Pinhal do Camarido , 24/06/1966, 1 ex., leg. R . N. Ferreira ( cRNF) ; Braga, Vieira do Minho, Serra do Gerês , 2/06/1969, 4 ex., leg. R . N. Ferreira ( cRNF) .

Distribution: Reported from France, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, and also found in Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Tunicia and Madeira and the archipelago of Canary Islands (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015).
