Bordoni (1983) reported it from Torreira (Aveiro), 1 ♂, Senglet leg., 7.IX.1969, and Marateca
(Seṫbal), 1 ♂, Senglet leg., 8.IX.1969. Hozman (1985) refers this species from Portugal. Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) reported this species from Beira Litoral and Alto Alentejo.
Distribution: Widespread in Europe and also Tunisia (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015).

New data: Minho, Braga, Vieira do Minho, Serra do Gerês , 2/07/1969, 2 ex., leg. R . N. Ferreira ( cRNF) .
Distribution: Widespread in Europe and also found in Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan, and also in the NeArctic Region, where it‟s introduced (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015). First record from Portugal.

Assing (2009b) recorded this species from Algarve, Faro, Loulé, Quarteira , 7/04/1991, 2 ex., leg. Terlutter (cAss). Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) also reported it from Algarve .
Distribution: Known from France, Great Britain, Portugal and Spain, and also found in Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015).
