Typus: C. simoni
Cx. ohne Kopferhöhung. Augen im Zustand der Degeneration. Abdomen stark gepanzert, zwei Scuta beim Weibchen, drei beim Männchen, die übrige Epidermis mit Haar- und Leistenplatten. Metatarsus IV ohne Becherhaar.
Systematische Stellung unsicher, Simon sieht in Comaroma eine Über von Pholcomma ( Theridiidae ) zu Pelecopsis .
