Holotype female in MCZC (n° 31962).

Type locality: 5 km W San Cristobal de las Casas, 8000’, Chiapas State, Mexico.

Distribution: Mexico: Chiapas, México, Michoacan, and Morelos States. Biology: Forest inhabitant with somewhat reduced eyes.

Note: Genus misspelled “ Ptomophagus [sic]” in Zaragoza-Caballero et al. (2019: 31) when listing this species for Morelos State, Mexico.
