Williams 13145 (lectotype, designated here: VEN–361 [digital image!]; isolectotypes: US–00090182!, S–R–2326 [digital image!]).
Nomenclatural notes:— Pittier (1941) described this taxon based on Williams 13145, but did not specify a herbarium, thus making all specimens of that gathering syntypes (Art. 40.2 Note 1). We designate VEN361 as the lectotype because it represents the most complete and diagnostic specimen.
