( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 ; Table 23)

Figured material. Marina Tenerife (19/06/23) (1C on buoy).

Other material examined. Las Galletas Marina (19/06/23) (1C on rope), Pasito Blanco Marina (26/06/23) (1C on rope), Taliarte (26/06/23) (1C on buoy), Big Canary Sports Dock (27/06/23) (1C on rope) ( MNCN 25.02/180), Morro Jable (27/06/23) (1C on buoy), Puerto Calero (29/06/23) (1C on rope), Playa Blanca (29/06/23) (1C on buoy), Marina Lanzarote (29/06/23) (1C on buoy).

Description. Small erect white colonies, below two cm in height. Biserial branches incurved, with colourless joints. Each internode connects with one to three lateral branches and includes four to twelve zooids ( Fig. 24A View FIGURE 24 ). Lateral branches arising near the growing points in the branch ( Fig. 24B View FIGURE 24 ). Autozooids tubular, with peristomial apertures not very elongated, oval to rounded ( Fig. 24B, C View FIGURE 24 ). Gonozooid with slit-shaped pseudopores, its morphology between pyriform and obovoid shape, widest distally, with a flat or slightly convex surface ( Fig. 24D View FIGURE 24 ). Ooeciostome rounded, facing upwards, located on a very short tube above the gonozooid.

Remarks. Like other Cyclostomatida , species in the genus Crisia are challenging to identify. These specimens show similar characteristics to Crisia noranhai Souto, Ramalhosa & Canning-Clode, 2023 , especially regarding the overall morphology of the gonozooid and the size and direction of the peristomial apertures. However, we did not observe pointed lateral processes in the peristomial apertures that are sometimes present in C. noranhai . Besides, the distal part of the gonozooid seems a little convex rather than concave, in contrast to C. noranhai .
