TYPE SPECIES. — Gubuzhu orientalis X.-T. Xu & C. Waichert , n. sp.; monotypic genus.

ETYMOLOGY. — From Chinese ‘gu’ ( 古), meaning ‘ancient’, and ‘buzhu’ ( 捕蛛), meaning ‘catching spider’. Gender feminine.

DIAGNOSIS. — As for the type species.
