USA: Georgia (new state record): Clarke Co.: two individuals from two sites. Caught in flight trap from 16 June – 14 July 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America ( Valentine 1998).
Saproxylic habits.
Breed in deadwood, such as sweetgum ( Brues 1927); species of Choragus Kirby, 1819 feed on ascomycete fungi ( Xylariaceae and Diatrypaceae ) ( Valentine 1998).
