Diagnosis. See Peng et al. (2020).

Material examined. CHINA: 1♀, Anhou, Fujian Tianbaoyan National Natural Reserve, Sanming City , Fujian Province, 14 June 2021, 1160m, Malaise trap, DNA 927 ( FAFU) .

Distribution. China (Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Taiwan), Japan, South Korea.

Remarks. We examined additional females of this species and found that the mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and axilla do not always exhibit strong green-to-blue metallic luster (cf. Peng et al. 2020 fig. 14E). Like the specimen shown in Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 , the anterior convex region of the mesoscutal medial lobe lacks metallic luster. In fact, this is the case with most specimens, especially those reared from Dendrolimus spp. ( Lepidoptera : Lasiocampidae ).

DNA barcode. The newly generated DNA barcode is similar to the already published sequences (GenBank: PQ165814- PQ165817, Wang et al. 2024) (0–3.7% p-distance).
