Sargus lateritius Rondani, 1863: 76 View in CoL . ST? [ MZUN]: Madagascar.
We did not examine the holotype of Sargus lateritius View in CoL [ MZUN], but from the description and our extensive material from Madagascar, we can conclude that this species belongs in the genus Ptecticus View in CoL .
