Rupicolous herb. Leaves 2, sessile, apical; blade dark green, immaculate, coriaceous, concave, conduplicate, linear, obscurely parallel-veined, apex acute. Inflorescence in raceme, lateral, 1-flowered, glabrous. Flowers resupinate, ecalcarate; sepals and petals brownish-orange with vinaceous macules; lip brownish-orange with vinaceous macules and an atropurpureous longitudinal stripe, slightly trilobed.

Distribution: Paraguay and Brazil, where it occurs in the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado domains (Flora do Brasil c2020, Govaerts et al. c2020).
