This species has been recorded from Cameroon, Togo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea ( Fernando Poo), Congo ( Beier 1962), and Guinea ( Chopard 1954).

Material examined. — Cameroon:— 1 male ( syntype) ( BMNH); Guinea: Guinee Forestiere, Foret Classee Diecke, Camp 1, elev. 450 m ( 7°35'45''N, 8°52'19''W), 21–25.xi.2003, leg. P. Naskrecki— 1 male ( MCZ).
