Diagnosis
D (5-6) + (54-59); A 49-52; P 1 22-23; P 2 7; gill rakers 5 + 15; orbit diameter 4.2-5.4 in head length; scales absent on branchiostegal membranes; body greyish pink, vertical fins dark ( Cohen, 1986).
Distribution
Southeastern Atlantic, southwestern Indian Ocean: South Africa; Réunion ( Fig. 2F View Figure 2 ).
