Aus der Schweiz liegen nur zwei Belege aus dem Mittelland vor (coll. P. Weber, ETH). Nachkontrolle der Belege und Konsultation des Zuchttagebuches von Weber lassen klar darauf schliessen, dass die beiden Belege zu Stigmella mespilicola (FreY, 1856) gehören (E.v. Nieukerken pers. Mitt.).
