General distribution: Cosmopolitan. Widespread in subSaharan Africa, South Europe, Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, North America (Florida).

Distribution in Israel: All over Mediterranean part.

Period of flight in Israel: September and November.

Host plants: Various Convolvulaceae , damages batata leaves.
